Fear of flying
I recently traveled in an Aircraft after a long time and was amazed at how scary flying can be for those who are not accustomed to it. More so after I have made it a point in recent months to closely study numerous aircraft accidents. What I can say is that this is not the sort of knowledge that is useful to frequent flyers.

I don't know of too many pilots that are actually afraid of flying. Even though we learn a great deal about accidents and how to mitigate the risks. I think that one of the best remedies for fear of flying is learning to fly. Knowledge trumps ignorance every time! Just my two cents!
Hey I learned to fly, and now I'm even building an airplane in my garage!
