Bomber Leather Jacket And Aircrafts

The facts are that bomber leather jackets were specially manufactured for providing protection to pilots during the First World War. During those days most of the aircrafts were without closed cockpit and planes were not insulated. Introduced by the American army, these bomber jackets consisted of zipper closures, wrapped high collars, fur lining and snug cuffs. They helped keep pilots comfortable up there.
