Images of the burning twin towers shortly after the commercial planes carrying passengers flew straight into them will forever linger on the minds of many. Nothing like it had never happened before. This was a disaster that could just not be compared. Even the sinking of the Titanic would have been compared with other ships, albeit of smaller size, sinking before it.
