Actually The A380 Is Already Flying
Interestingly it is always Airbus who have emerged with the big risky technological breakthroughs. You will remember that it was Airbus who first used fly-by-wire. And now it seems that despite whatever endless problems the brand new colossal A380 is going through, they will finally be overcome and A380 will soon be flying regular scheduled passenger flights.
Actually the A380 is already flying regularly but what is happening is that the new "bird" I being extensively tested, modified and prepared for full commercial operations. All the trouble and long anxious delays will be justified when she's finally released for commercial operations.
